Martin Braun Watches

Martin Braun was acquired by the Franck Muller Watchland Group in April of 2007.
Martin Braun is a master watchmaker who was taught the art in Germanys classic jewelry and watchmaking city of Pforzheim. Many years of work with vintage timepieces have honed his skills and instilled in him a desire to recreate and improve upon classic designs in watchmaking. More than anything, however, Braun always wanted to make a new and innovative complication that would indicate the wearers local time of sunrise and sunset. It took ten years in the making, but his dream became a reality in the year 2000 with the introduction of the EOS model. Martin Braun extended his family named for figures from Greek mythology. Eos (2001) was the Greek goddess of the sunrise and is now the matriarch of Martin Brauns now legendary family of watches. Her child was Boreas (2003), the Greek god of the north wind. Astraios (2005) was Eoss husband and the father of her children, becoming the next series of the Braun watches. Notos came in 2006, followed by Selene in 2007 and in 2008; Braun added Kephalos and Zephyros to his family.
